The project lead of "Die Strömungsopfer" is Leon W (DJ Silver). The album was created in close collaboration with DJ Jan and was jointly developed by both artists.

The project, however, had much more modest beginnings. DJ Jan originally produced the first track, "Die Strömungsopfer"—which also became the title of the album—as a lighthearted project for a private event. From this spontaneous idea, he and DJ Silver gradually developed a full-length rock album with its own distinct musical identity.

The main goal was to preserve the original energy of the first song while creating an album that combines powerful rock elements with emotional lyrics and an intense atmosphere. Throughout the production process, numerous ideas were refined, expanded, and carefully arranged, allowing a single song to evolve into a cohesive body of work.

The vocals are performed using the AI voice Ciera, which gives the album a consistent vocal identity while complementing its blend of powerful melodies, emotional passages, and dynamic rock instrumentation.

Despite its unconventional beginnings, "Die Strömungsopfer" evolved into a seriously produced music project that intentionally combines emotion, energy, and a genuine passion for making music. At the same time, the album never loses sight of its original spirit: having fun with music. This is especially reflected in the closing track, "Emol Strömungsopfer," which is performed entirely in the Saxon dialect and serves as a tongue-in-cheek finale that pays tribute to the project's origins.
